# About SwimRava — Whiteboard AI built by a competitive swimmer

SwimRava exists because the set still lives on a whiteboard and the watch still lives on a wrist — and those two records almost never meet. The product is the log the founder wanted on deck: photograph the board, structure the send-off, then compare yardage and pace to what HealthKit actually recorded.

## Founder and engineering

Siddharth Gupta is the founder: a national-level competitive swimmer and software engineer. The same person who has stood behind a handwritten set writes the vision parser, the WorkoutKit / HealthKit path, and the two desks — a light athlete feed and Navy Telemetry for coaches. Domain expertise is why send-off, stroke, and rest are first-class fields.

Early access is a small engineering team around that loop. We would rather ship an honest parse-and-review draft than claim a black-box "AI coach."

## Engineering principles

- The board is the source of truth. Vision parse is a draft you can edit.
- HealthKit is opt-in. We only read and write pool swims after you connect Apple Health. Whiteboard photos are processed temporarily and are not stored as a photo library.
- Fail closed on the pool deck. Manual entry and on-device save exist because locker-room signal is real.
- Two desks, one product. Athletes get a light feed. Coaches get Navy Telemetry.
